What is a Fauxto-booth you ask?
Well it is a fun out of the box way to have a photo booth at your next event. A fauxto-booth has a real live breathing photographer to make sure the pictures taken turn out great, it has a custom feel with props and backgrounds that can be made or created to match the feel and look of your event. What types of sessions will this session be for?
It can be used for newborns, babies, children, seniors, families, siblings, mommy & me, daddy & me, & engagement. Only sessions it will not be available for is boudoir sessions.
How do I get the voucher/certificate for this special once I have paid?
It can be mailed to you, or picked up at my Dayton office. They will be available for shipping and picking up Tuesday November 27th and after.
How many people can be in the session?
up to 3 is included in the price, additional people are just $15 additional.
Where are the pictures taken?
There are many options on locations, for example Newborns are most often taken in the home, or an indoor location we would decide on, if it is snowing it might be fun to take some outside in the snow, Inside the downtown skywalks and buildings, the options are wide open. It is very flexible. All locations are chosen by photographer, but open to ideas and suggestions.

What is a 12×18 Canvas?
It is a 12 inch by 18 inch fine art canvas with your favorite image from the session. It is a very nice way to display your images on your walls, like artwork for your home. The Canvas is printed and wrapped around a wood frame so that even the sides of the canvas are part of the picture.
Do the Digital Files have a print release?
Yes. You can print up to an 8x12inch prints with your digital files for personal usage. You may also put them on products such as keychains, cutting boards, etc. You may also post them on Facebook and other social medias.
What is an online gallery?
It is a gallery on my website http://www.cmaries-photography.com on the Client tab that will host your images from the session so that you and others can view and order images. It will be online for 30 days. This is great for family out of town or just being able to let others see and view all the images we captured during the session.
Will this gift certificate expire?
No. Gift Certificates do not expire.

What is a FAUXto-booth you ask?
Well a FAUXto-booth is an out-of-the-box photo booth. A live photographer will arrive at your event with a backdrop (if needed, sometimes its cool to use the scenery you have around your event) and gathers up a few details from your event to use as props. (i.e. a few napkins, a chair, maybe a flower, balloon, a favor, grass, program, bow, a fork, or any other random thing that might work for a goofy fun picture) Then the FAUXto-booth is open for guests!
FAUXto-booths are way more fun than a big square black box.

I have really enjoyed being able to capture events lately. And have decided that I just truly love being able to capture people in a moment. The moment a little one blows out the candles and mom watching with a smile from hear to hear, or photographing a graduate as she crosses that stage. I love being able to capture moments in time, that just naturally happen and by offering event coverage I have really been able to do that.
So far I have had the opportunity to photograph the following events: weddings (of course), high school graduation, graduation parties, college graduations, bridal shows, baby showers, birthday parties, surprise parties, and a bachelorette party. So I have been thinking about putting a blog together of my albums because it is the topic of many questions. And I think that maybe some pictures would help.
Gallery Album
A Gallery Album is one of my favorite products. I do have several options for these albums such as multiple cover options and several lay outs, and even photo papers that it can be printed on.
Cover option shown in pictured album is a picture wrap cover with a black leather backing. But like mentioned above there are many options on covers.
Flush Mount albums are known for there thicker pages, which is a result of your photo pages being mounted onto mat board and then bound into a museum quality album. This album should is a 30 page album.
Gallery Flush Mount Albums lay completely flat when opened.
Due to the lay-flat pages in a flush mount album you can do cool spreads like this, that span across the entire length of the album.
The sample of this album in my office currently is of Danielle & Tyler Niekamp’s Wedding that took place in Findlay Ohio at St. Michael’s and The Centre at Bluffton in Bluffton, Ohio. We even got to go to the University of Findlay for some pictures as it is where they met.
Storybook Album
A Storybook Album is great for any occasion. From Weddings to Children and Families. It is a less expensive option than the Gallery Album but it is still an album that showcases your wedding (or other sessions.)
Cover included in this album is a fabric cover, which can be the pattern shown here or a solid color. A picture cover is an option but is an upgraded price.
In a Storybook Album, the pages do not lay flat. Which is actually how I named is, because it reminded me of a children’s storybook the way the pages were. The pages are thinner so I do not recommend letting children get ahold of this but it will still last a long time as long as you take care of it.
Just like the gallery album though there are many layouts that can be used in this album as well. It can still showcase your wedding just as it happened on your wedding day.
There are also some paper options and even an option to make it lay flat but still have the thin pages at an additional cost.
The wedding in this sample album was of Ryan & Katie Aubry which took place in Springfield Ohio. It was the first wedding I shot in Springfield actually and it was the first time I got to shoot with my friend Liz who now shoots with me pretty much all the time.
Keepsake Album
Many call my keepsake album a brag book of sorts because it is made up of your favorite 20 images that many like to give as a gift or show off to friends, co-workers, church members, family, etc. The nice part about these books are that they are a 4×6 size (or a 5×7 size) which makes them easy to carry around in your purse. They are also more fun sometimes than a parent album copy because each one you make you can make unique with whichever 20 pictures you would like.
Covers are either gray, black, or white. It is a hard cover album so it keeps your prints safe. (Sometimes Leather is an option as well.)
Keepsake Albums are thicker pages similar to the flush mount pages thickness. They are black pages so each of the pictures are framed with a thin black border.
This album is a 4×6 in size but a 5×7 size is also an option and many times the 5×7 size is more ideal for a parent, god parent, or grand parent gift.
The Wedding in this keepsake album sample was also taken in Springfield at a local bed and breakfast. It was a very romantic affair.
Some might wonder why I offer so many different album types as many studios and photographers offer just one. Well it is because I think it is very important to have an album of pictures. When you think about going to your mom’s or grandparents house to look at pictures, could you imagine having them pull out there iPad to show you, no it is a big old album with pictures that are important and timeless. As well as they are able to be passed around and handed down. No matter what technology comes out next or what kinds of things pictures can be saved to, those printed pictures can still be shared.
Let’s fast forward 20 years, do you think that us handing our children a cd or dvd or pictures is going to go over with them? They are going to look at you like you are from the stone ages. They might not even know what a cd is by then. But an album can be pulled out and shared. It is truly a family heirloom forever.
