Surprise Engagement Session | Dayton Wedding Photographer

It was so cute..it all started with an email…asking if I could take pictures, while he pops the big question to his girlfriend. He got on an airplane, flew from Arizona to Dayton. Somehow got her to the park where she thought it was just getting pictures together because he misses her and she keeps wanting to do pictures together since they live so far apart now. AND SURPRISE he gets down on one knee. And she said YES!!

I have lately been into photographing at Eastwood MetroPark in Dayton. I just love the fields and the calm-ness of the park in general. I got to take picture of this family there – in was a little chilly that day and somewhat rainy but they were totally awesome and we got some great shots of them all. I just melted into a puddle when the two little girls were holding hands and walking together.

Benjamin – Dayton Portrait Photographer

Headed out to Wegerzyn Garden Park in Dayton to get some pictures of Benjamin. He gave us all a run for our money, he is a really sweet kid but he was out to give us a spin around the park. It wasn’t easy but we did get some great shots of him playing in the park. With the exception of one meltdown over the lose of his sippy cup which honestly was sorta just a moment I couldn’t help but photograph. Hopefully he won’t hold it against me when he gets a little older.

So now that I have this new blog, I think I need to start bringing over the old blog’s post, it is weird when the blog posted says you only have 5 post, when I have hundreds on my old one. So I have some work ahead of me.

But for one of the first post on this blog here are a few more sneak peeks for Kelsey & Jeremy Engagement Session. I had a great time shooting their session and have tons of favorites to get edited to show them. I seriously loved all the outfits, locations and interactions! More to come for sure.
